Simple minds

Simple minds of others,
seem to remember me liking him.
Spring, summer, winter and fall.
I alter their thoughts,I alter their minds..
But what they don't know,
is the sadness that grips my heart,
and the pain that often binds,
when I wonder,
how it all started...

The sun shone down,
and smoothed away her tears.
The mist faded away
and eased away her fears,
she searches for him,
she searches for him.
In the sea of faces,
yet without any traces.
His absence is distressing,
but calming at the same time.
She wonders how long,
she'll have to wait.
Till her hopes decay,
or she does..
